Rieko is an experienced massage practitioner and has studied both massage and aromatherapy in Japan and in the UK, where she obtained the ITEC Diploma in Aromatherapy and Holistic massage.  She also obtained an Advanced Certificate in Deep tissue massage, Holistic Medical Massage and Aromatherapy massage in Pregnancy.  Rieko is also a member of the International Federation of Aromatherapists (IFPA) http://www.ifparoma.org/   

Aromatherapy is the therapeutic use of essential oils, extracted from aromatic plants which have been widely recognized as beneficial for various health problems.  Each essential oil has it's own unique combination of therapeutic properties.  When essential oils are diluted in the blood stream and travel around the body having a therapeutic effect according to their properties.  After a full consultation, I will choose the appropriate essential oils in accordance with your condition.  These will relate to your mental and physical state and also spiritual energy levels, which are also taken into account.  Those who wish to address stress conditions or chronic health problems are often recommended to book regular sessions. 

I can offer combination treatments (herbal medicine & massage).  These treatments are most beneficial in stress related conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, IBS, insomnia, panic attacks etc.  They are also beneficial with female complaints such as PMS, menstrual and menopausal problems and infertility.
