Postnatal – Recover and Rebuild (bring your baby)

My postnatal class focuses (similarly to my Pregnant & Strong class) on developing core and pelvic floor co-ordination, strength, and stability.  This class is about reconnecting with your body and mind, tuning in to what it needs to recover and to support you starting to move again.  There is much change in the postnatal space, aiming to encourage women to start gentle movement sooner than the outdated 12-week mark.  This fourth trimester is fundamental to support you in rebuilding strength for motherhood, and I’m here to help you gain the confidence to do so.

Class Details:

– Weekly focus on pelvic floor and core engagement, strengthening, stabilising, and co-ordinating – all things vital for postpartum recovery

– We will use fundamental bodyweight strength movements to support the movements we are doing as a new mum, to support any aches and pains brought on by postural problems, and build strength for motherhood

– We will be a safe space to share concerns, questions, and chat about all things postpartum and recovery.  This includes me sharing knowledge and expertise and signposting to others who can help.

– We will work out together with our current state of body and mind firmly in the forefront, moving to make us feel good, supporting our mental health in the postpartum period, which is so vitally important.

Open to anyone postpartum (you do not need to have had a physio check or check from a doctor, but if you are coming before this, please let me know so we can have a chat about where you are at).  If you are unsure of anything, please do reach out to find out more about the class.
