I have been qualified as a homeopath since 1998. My interest in Homeopathy began in the mid 80’s when some friends were studying in London, and would practice using me as a patient. I went on their recommendation to see a classical Homeopath in 1991 after having experienced grief losing my Mum, and then a good friend in close succession.

I found the process of connecting with a homeopath, sharing my life story, and taking the remedies he prescribed extremely helpful and empowering. It was a momentous occasion for me, to make the decision to seek outside help. I had been trying to work it all out, holding it all in. It was the start of me turning my life around, but not alone. I was so fascinated by this homeopath and his craft, the little I would hear about his personal life, who he was. It was the quality of him as a person; so empathetic, without saying anything; I really felt heard.

I was able to use this new medium I’d trained in immediately on my new family during the pregnancy and birth process, and for their whole young lives, whatever they threw up, literally, I could deal with using homeopathic remedies. It’s so simple treating babies, as there is no pretending, and they respond so quickly, not knowing that they had a remedy.

I ran a low cost clinic in a local community centre for 5 years with a colleague, and have treated ongoing patients privately through many life stages. Including helping adults through severe childhood trauma, to helping people through surgeries, mental illness and addictions.

I offer general and alternative advice for health, lifestyle, diet and also, how you can treat yourself and your family in simple acute illnesses or situations, with a homeopathy first aid kit that I can supply.

Homeopathy is a very broad healing modality, that looks at every symptom as part of a whole; each person in an individual, unique way, to prescribe a remedy that matches their personality as well as the symptoms.

I look at family history, and patterns in behaviour, asking questions to fully understand what is going on in the body, and in the mind. I regularly attend lectures and seminars to this day, with a wide support network in the South East, keeping abreast of latest developments.

I also work as a gardener, I love physically interacting with plants and trees, learning about their different stages and seeing them as they grow through different seasons. It grounds me, and it is a great balance between practicing homeopathy.
