Jenny studied ballet and gymnastics before embarking on a career in politics. To keep ‘sane’ she continued dancing and exercising and first qualified as an Exercise to Music teacher in the 1990s.
After taking up Pilates and studying as an apprentice for several years she qualified as a Pilates teacher and has since qualified as a personal trainer, gym instructor Zumba and yoga teacher. Today, she also specialises in rehabilitative based-Pilates including for those with serious injuries and conditions.

PILATES WITH JENNY SMITH
This class focuses on improving strength, mobility, and flexibility. Drawing on the classical Pilates technique it will help students learn more about their bodies, achieve better posture and a greater functional range of movement.
In my Pilates classes, there is a place for everyone. Challenges, modifications, and adaptations will be offered for the exercises so we can all gain the most from the technique.
With class numbers limited to 7 people everyone will benefit from personal attention and hands-on adjustments.
I will invite you to practice one exercise as homework each week so that your Pilates experience extends beyond a one-hour class – and you will see greater improvement.
