About Me:
I’m Maria Luísa, founder of Tão Linda Therapies and a holistic therapist offering gentle, intuitive sessions that support both body and emotional wellbeing.
I hold a degree in International Relations, Politics and Economics, and from an early age I felt a strong calling to work with people. After gaining experience within local politics, I realised that the political environment no longer aligned with my values or the way I wished to contribute to others’ wellbeing. This led me to choose a more human, relational, and embodied path of support — one rooted in presence, care, and integrity.
My journey has been shaped by professional training, personal growth, and lived experience. I am a founding member of the Portuguese Association of Aromatherapy and a member of the IFPA (International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists), the Guild of Holistic Therapists, and the International Institute for Complementary Therapists. These foundations support my commitment to ethical, informed, and client-centred practice.
I believe healing is not about being fixed, but about being met with safety, respect, and compassion. My role is to offer a calm, grounded space where you can slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with your body at your own pace.
How I work:
My sessions are guided by deep listening — to the body, to subtle energy, and to what may remain unspoken. Each session is individually tailored, responding to what you need in that moment rather than following a set structure.
Through intuitive bodywork, energy awareness, and therapeutic presence, I support the nervous system to settle, allowing tension to release and emotional layers to soften naturally. Clients often leave feeling more grounded, lighter, emotionally clearer, and more connected to themselves.
This work goes beyond relaxation. It can be especially supportive for those navigating chronic stress, fatigue, grief, emotional transitions, or a sense of disconnection from themselves. My sessions offer a gentle invitation to pause, breathe, and come back home to the body — with care, safety, and compassion.
