I’ve lived in Brockley, round the corner from the Sunflower Centre, for the last ten years. The front room of the Centre is the first place I ever practiced yoga. A decade and many adventures later, it’s a great pleasure and privilege to be in this space sharing the practices that continue to enrich and transform my life.
I am fascinated by this experience of being human. I am interested in how we can live with more freedom, joy, ease and connection – in our bodies, our relationships and our communities. For me this starts with our capacity to feel and express.
I teach movement and awareness practices to help us feel. My classes combine yoga, meditation, breathwork and other practices that I love such as touch, sound and words. My classes can be playful, tender, challenging, uplifting, deeply relaxing and soulful – sometimes all at once!
I’m a certified yoga teacher, having completed my 250-hour teacher training with Stretch in 2019. I am also a qualified pre- and post-natal yoga teacher.
My offerings are inspired by my own journey of self-enquiry and self-expression, my day-to-day experiences and interactions, and my interest in neuroplasticity, heart and body intelligence, trauma and mindfulness teachings
Sarah Savage is now on Maternity Leave, but all her classes are continuing until she returns to the Centre. Please contact the cover teachers directly
