Sound Healing Practitioner

Tilda is a Swedish sound artist, sound therapist, singer, and music producer based in South East London whose work explores the transformative power of vibration, voice, and resonance. Through immersive sound journeys, she creates spaces for deep rest, emotional release, and reconnection with the body.

Her path into sound healing began after a vocal injury led her to rediscover her own voice in a new way. Through this process she encountered the profound effect sound and frequency can have on the nervous system and emotional landscape. This experience now informs her practice, where musical artistry meets therapeutic listening.

Drawing from both ancient traditions and contemporary sonic practice, Tilda works with Himalayan singing bowls, crystal bowls, tuning forks, chimes, drums, natural sound textures, and the human voice. Influenced by Scandinavian vocal traditions such as kulning, she treats the voice as a powerful instrument for resonance and healing. Through layered sounds and intuitive performance, she creates immersive waves of vibration that gently move through the space, supporting the body and mind to soften, settle, and reset.

Sound Baths with Tilda

Each session begins with a short guided meditation and gentle breathwork to help participants arrive, ground, and shift into a more present and relaxed state. From there, the experience unfolds as a live soundscape—part meditation, part sonic exploration—where instruments and voice create evolving layers of sound and resonance.

The sound journey lasts around 60 minutes, followed by an optional 10 minutes for reflection and integration at the end.

Arrival: Arrive 20 minutes early to secure a good spot and integrate in the space. No latecomers are allowed in as this can take away from the experience from others. We provide yoga mats and bolsters, for extra comfort bring your own blanket and pillow.

Participants lie down or sit comfortably, ideally with their eyes closed to receive the full depth of the experience. A sound journey is a passive listening practice—no talking or activity takes place during the session. The intention is to use sound as a gateway into deeper presence, allowing participants to rest fully and reconnect with themselves without distraction.

The vibrations produced by the instruments can help guide the body from the stress-driven sympathetic nervous system into the rest-and-restore parasympathetic state. This shift supports the body in slowing the heart rate and breath, calming the mind, and reducing the stress response. As the nervous system settles, levels of the stress hormone cortisol may naturally decrease, allowing the body to enter deeper states of relaxation and repair.

Many people describe the experience as dreamlike, spacious, or deeply grounding. Some drift into a meditative or sleep-like state, while others experience emotional release or a quiet sense of clarity. Each session is unique and shaped by the instruments, the space, and the collective energy of the group.

No prior experience with meditation or sound healing is needed. Simply arrive, get comfortable, and allow the sound to guide you into stillness.

Please arrive on time, as late entry is not possible once the session has begun. Sound journeys can sometimes bring up emotions as the body relaxes; if at any point the experience feels intense, you are welcome to step out quietly.
