Hello, I’m Vicky, founder of Shine Bright Wellbeing and lover of all things health and wellness. I began my journey as a young child, my Grandparents were avid Aromatherapists, always treating our minor ailments with the magical healing properties of essential oils, my Mum very much adopted this approach and had me blending oils from a very young age. 

When I was 6 my Mum was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and with no Western medicine cure, she began her journey of holistic healing, I would attend all her appointments with her, including weekly Meditation classes and Reiki healings, I would then “practice” these modalities on her when we got home. Deep down I guess I’ve always been a healer. 

I later went on to study Aromatherapy at the University of Greenwich, obtaining a 1st Class Hons degree in Aromatherapy & Massage. This led me into the world of Clinical Research in the fields of Oncology, Mental Health & Stroke research.

Upon moving to Australia in 2014 with my Australian partner (now husband), I embarked on the journey of becoming a Yoga, Pilates & Meditation Teacher, as well as a Reiki Practitioner. 

In 2022 our family (two kids in tow and the fur baby of course), made the journey back to the UK to be closer to my family.

My current offerings include Yin Yoga classes, Moon Circles, Reiki Healings, and handmade Aromatherapy products.

YIN YOGA WITH VICKY KALOW

Yin Yoga is a slower form of yoga, practiced mainly in lying or seated positions and is often described as a moving meditation. Each pose is typically held for 3-5 minutes, helping to stretch deeper into the connective tissue and joints, working alongside the emotional body. 

Vicky’s classes are all themed around an intention, often connecting to the energies of the planetary alignments, stars and moon phases. With a deep focus on self-love and balancing the seven main chakras, this weekly class is a truly beautiful way to relax and unwind at the end of the day. 

Each class incorporates the use of essential oils, crystals, relaxing music, candles & oracle cards to help further the connection to self and deepen relaxation. Each class also ends with a relaxing foot massage. 

This class is suitable for all levels and abilities, with lots of options & modifications offered. 

No experience is necessary and all equipment is provided.

    These monthly circles are held around the full moon and incorporate Yin Yoga, meditation, Reiki, essential oils, crystals and oracle cards
